• School professional’s email address
• Caregiver ratings relating to the child’s behaviour and development

We use this information solely to:

• Monitor and support the child’s developmental progress
• Share insights between parents, schools, and healthcare professionals (with appropriate permissions)
• Improve the delivery of care and communication across stakeholders
• Support research and service development (with fully anonymised data where appropriate)

We do not use this data for marketing purposes or share it with third-party advertisers.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data under the following legal bases:

• Consent: We rely on informed, explicit consent provided by the parent or legal      guardian before collecting and using a child’s data.

9. How Long We Keep Your Data

In accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, personal data related to a child’s health and development will only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable clinical, legal, or safeguarding obligations.

Specifically:

· Health-related and developmental data (such as caregiver ratings and journal entries) may be retained for a period of up to 6 years after the child turns 18, in line with NHS and educational record-keeping guidance, unless there is a specific legal requirement to retain it for longer (e.g. safeguarding investigations).

· Non-health personal data (e.g. parent/school emails) will be securely deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for the original purpose or after consent is withdrawn.

· You may request earlier deletion of your child’s data, unless there is an overriding legal basis to retain it (such as safeguarding or statutory requirements).

All data deletion requests will be handled securely and in line with statutory guidance for child data retention.
